SWIMMING LESSONS! OLA!

Post  irma on Fri Apr 25, 2008 9:30 pm

HI SAPPHIRE! HI DONALIE!

Age does not matter when you want to learn on how to swim, I am 29! and still learning the basics of survival in the water! FYI, i have a 70 year old class mate! LOL! and whats more exciting is im losing weight, kc nga todo exercise ka ka swim ko. I always taught dati that when you go swimming, its all fun! Its FUN if you know how to swim! e pano kung hindi, wawa ka. Right now its really hardwark and concentration you need, in doing things... My last class was Tuesday, Im in Laoag now kaya wala ako Thurtsday and saturday Sessions. Last tuesday, my coach taught me a survival trick in the water. Doing the JUMPING JACKS in the water, would save your life, You just do the Jumping Jacks and for sure dika malulunud, my coach taught me that, and it worked for me. mahirap i explain eh, but if your in the water try it! sa una hirap, but if u get the hang of it, it would give you great benefit. As for me, i for one do not have the stamina for long lapses, i usually run out of breath, the jumping jacks do save my lapses. HE HE HE. Till here na lang! till my next lesson, i will try to post next time my pix during my lessons!

IRMA'S LEARNING TO SWIM!

Post  irma on Sat Apr 19, 2008 4:14 pm

Very Happy
HI! Guys! I want to share my experiences on my swimming lessons. I had 4 sessions done na, but sorry to tell you, my swimming skills, are not yet for olympics status! maybe after my 12th session! My story starts few weeks ago.... i got a leaflet... for swim calss... i enrolled myself for 12 sessions, they told me per session maximum of 5, but luckily my time slot konti lang student, kaya 1 is to 1. My first 2 days girl nag turo sa kin, basics....
3rd session guy na, but to be honest, dika ma i ilang kc on 3rd session as in no physical contact na, their just tell u to swim pa ulit ulit. At the first 2 session sa mababaw pa ko nag swim, 3rd session sa malalim na!!! ehemmm.. i was o proud of my self! kaso lang hinihingal ako! cross wise ng pool pa lang yun! on the 4th day sa pahaba na ng pool! which really is very exhausting, pabalik balik with my kick board! at the end of class i felt dizzy! kc sabi ng coach, kinulang nako ng OXYGEN! so is should stay in the water! and do some bubbles!
E ciempre feeling expert nako sa bubbles! kc un ang una nilang turo! mag bubbles! and magbubbles ay proper breathing when ur in the water! exhale hwen going down then exhale going up! o cia Cge! got to go! my swim class is at 5pm!
